Why I won’t recommend this carrier.

About a year ago I was sent a carrier to try and review. I never published a review, because I didn’t want to bring it to the attention of my audience. I tried it out, I took a few pics (with my petite 20mo), and then it was forgotten about. It would have stayed that way, except that I fell across a write up on Babyology which praised it to the high heavens, and I thought “Uhhhh, that’s not ok. Some impressionable...

The best under-eye suitcase concealer EVER

I’ve been hanging out in a few makeup groups lately to get some Inspiration and OH the things I have learned. The trick I feel every PARENT needs is this: Bright red lipstick is your friend. As the tropical storm buffeted our house again, we reached for the local cookbook and sought inspiration. This little island is a place of feast or famine-all the locally grown produce is of course in season at the...

Feeling the pressure.

Yeah, well, I’ve decided pressure can actually hurt quite a lot. I’ve also decided Daddy will be doing the dentist visits with Small, because there is no way I can sustain cheerful, positive conversation on the way to one of the worst experiences of my life. Yes, I did give birth with a chemical induction, multiple interventions and pitocin contractions. This is worse. When I was about twelve, some brilliant dentist...
