My child is bored.
Aloha not-so-unhealthy cookies/slice/bar thing that is easy enough for a two year old to (help) make!
You will need:
A splash of milk,
1 cup (1/2 jar) warm nut butter (peanut is great, almond is amazing, or you can mix it up. I did walnut/cashew last time)
1/4 cup brown sugar.
add 1 cup of cooking
1/4 cup ground flax seed,
1/8 cup of chia seed.
(HEALTHY PROTEIN! if you don’t have these, LSA mix is fine. Basically, you want about 1/2 cup of dry stuff to balance the wet stuff.)
If you’re feeling fancy… dried cranberries/almonds/peanuts/whatever to taste. I don’t bother.
Pour into tray and pat out smooth if you want to do a slice and the 2yo has lost patience. Dob into cookies if not.
